Overview
The Monmouth County Office of Emergency Management undertook a disaster planning and exercise initiative designed to enhance the capability of communities throughout the county to recover from future disasters.
The purpose of this web site was to serve as a single source for sharing information regarding the initiative as well as a portal for community leaders and county residents to share ideas and concepts regarding disaster recovery in Monmouth County.
Disaster Plans
Debris Management Plan Develop a Debris Management Plan for Monmouth County to support preparedness and response efforts before, during and after hazardous events. The Debris Management Plan will be scalable to cover assistance to municipalities during localized events as well larger, county-wide, regional or statewide events.
Recovery Plan Develop a Critical Systems Recovery Plan for Monmouth County to support preparedness and response efforts before, during and after hazardous events, emergency or disasters. The plan will be scalable to address assistance to municipalities during localized events as well larger, county-wide, regional or statewide events.
Re-Entry Plan Develop a Re-Entry Plan for county-level support for re-entry of evacuated populations into municipalities following mandatory and or voluntarily ordered mass evacuations in Monmouth County.

Disaster Exercises
Disaster Exercises Develop, facilitate and evaluate three regional tabletop exercises for Monmouth County and the county’s stakeholder agencies and organizations in order to test communication and coordination between municipalities and the county’s Office of Emergency Management during event response.
