The Florida Department of Health In Hamilton County undertook an initiative to conduct an infectious disease awareness and control exercise entitled “Contagion Containment – An Infection Prevention Tabletop Exercise”.

This exercise served as an opportunity for health department management and staff to work through scenario information and injects dealing with three infectious disease outbreaks occurring within the county.

Exercise Scenarios

This exercise was comprised of the following three infectious disease scenario vignettes.

Vignette # 1 – Influenza Pandemic
Vignette # 2 – Ebola Threat
Vignette # 3 – Measles Outbreak

Exercise Conclusion
