Dallas County Medical Reserve Corps – Texas

The exercise presented an opportunity to have a real team effort with everyone inputting information / thoughts / ideas and lots of open discussions.

I felt the exercise was very well prepared. I look forward to participating in more.

Scenarios were very thought provoking and led to much discussion regarding our ability to support a functional needs support services shelter.

Good scenarios that made you think about what you would do under various circumstances.

The exercise gave us an additional format for training, small group as opposed to lecture, allowing plenty of brainstorming and exchange.

I’m looking forward to doing more of these exercises. It not only helped me as an MRC member, but on a personal level as well. Made me think more about my own personal plan and things I need to share with friends and neighbors.

We thought the exercise was very good and we really liked the way it was presented. We look forward to participation in the flood exercise in April.

We had twenty volunteers participate and everyone felt it was a very worth while morning. We are planning to participate in the earthquake tabletop at the end of March.

Thank you for providing this training, by far the best I have attended!

This is good stuff, I did one last year and thought the presentation, content and injects were great.

Western Piedmont Medical Reserve Corps – South Carolina

This past Saturday three of our state’s MRC Coordinators got together to participate in the earthquake exercise. All I can say is – wonderful.

I can not wait to get some of my volunteers together for the next scheduled exercise. I think the format is perfectly suited for medium – small groups of volunteers. The exercise begins with a great ICS review then moves to interesting injects. The maps used are easy to work with – removable layers – and very detailed.
