This exercise served as an opportunity for the Upper Township School District and along with the township’s emergency response agencies to work through scenario information and injects dealing with an active shooter incident occurring at one of the district’s schools.
Exercise Scenario
It is a Thursday afternoon and students are beginning to look forward to the upcoming three day weekend.
At 1:22PM multiple gunshots ring out from the school’s main hallway.
Your school district must now respond to an active shooter situation occurring at one of its schools.
