The following testimonials are from individuals that participated in the Hurricane Access Tabletop Exercise series.
Volunteer Florida – Merrilee White
The Hurricane Access exercises were great opportunities to sit face to face with community organizations that can help make Functional Needs Support Services (FNSS) a reality in Florida.
The rewards of face-to-face conversation about the Hurricane Access exercise injects are priceless and really can’t be achieved any other way.
I hope that Hurricane Access exercises will be conducted in the rest of Florida’s emergency management regions.
Franklin County Emergency Management Department – Mike Rundel
The exercise was our county’s opportunity to bring together Community Partners with a focus on identifying the FNSS capabilities of each partner agency and organization. This exercise will assist us as we continue to enhance plans and procedures to meet the needs of county residents following a disaster.

Today’s exercise was a wonderful learning experience as well as an opportunity for us to see each other face to face. Building relationships with each other goes a long way – especially prior to a disaster.
